This one is multitudinous!
If you read my post here about retirement, I wanted to add that even though my Chris’ promotion was given two weeks ago, the pay does not begin until July. You know what our wonderful God did? He provided a past credit to our NOW need. He had a retirement payout that was to happen this October, but we are actually getting it next week. It is PERFECT timing and …again exceeding our expectations! I tell you what, God is so good to us!!
Our Kylie is on an adventure of a lifetime, as she just arrived in Spain to walk The Camino de Santiago. It was slated to happen as a study abroad last summer, but you know…COVID closed those doors. Her teachers leading it decided that they would go with anyone who wanted to go this year. So she is in good and wise hands, as she walks this pilgrimage for the next two months.
Our Noah is heading to Bentonville, AR for the summer. Since his summer classes are online, he is free to go and “splore!” We are so happy for him, as he is in his final stretch for his architectural degree and seeks out God’s next for him.
Our Tabor has graduated from high school and is moving out to his first college home with new friends later this summer. We are loving seeing him grow into adulthood. It is both such a blessing and a gifted challenge for us. The question in my mind right now is often, how do you parent adult children. We are learning and growing in this, too!
Our Sydney is also growing in wisdom and stature, becoming quite the homemaker, too! Watching her learn life skills and be proud of her hard work as she conquers each mountain is such a blessing. Even now as I type, she is nearly finished reading a 500 page book–dyslexia has been a gift to her for she does not quit when things get hard. I admire that quality and find that it challenges me, too!
